Mortgage servicers are essential to ensure that North Carolina homeowners receive assistance through the NC Homeowner Assistance Fund to prevent home loss and additional financial instability due to the coronavirus pandemic. Thank you for your commitment to helping North Carolina homeowners experiencing economic hardship following the coronavirus pandemic.
The NC Homeowner Assistance Fund is close to exhausting its funding and will soon be closing. Because we are assessing remaining funds daily, we will not be able to provide advance notice of program closure. If you have a client who has not completed and submitted their application, we urge you to remind them to do so as soon as possible.
Eligible homeowners seeking assistance through the NC Homeowner Assistance Fund must have their servicer enrolled in the program through a signed collaboration agreement to receive assistance. All approved funding will be paid directly to the participating servicer.
Our team looks forward to working with you to improve housing stability in North Carolina. With your help, we can help keep families in their homes.
If you are a mortgage servicer and have not yet signed up to participate in the NC Homeowner Assistance Fund, contact us at [email protected] to get started today. To view a list of participating mortgage servicers, click here.
